Salmon Dressing

Creamy Baked Salmon Dressing

Our story

This is my go to salmon dressing when I want a moist salmon with a creamy rich flavour. I have served this at multiple dinner parties and it continues to be one of my favourites. It has a light creamy texture with a bit of crunch from the onions and celery. It has been fool proof every time and a fan favourite. The creaminess of the salmon reminds me of cream cheese, but this recipe does not have any cream cheese in it! The sour cream and mayonnaise melts perfectly in the oven to create the richness of cream cheese with a smooth texture.

I usually serve this with plain white or brown rice, and a side of vegetables. You could also serve it with a side of pasta and vegetables! If you end up having extra salmon left over, you could mix it with some additional mayonnaise to create a delicious creamy salmon spread. This pairs perfectly with crackers or cucumber slices. The possibilities are endless.

This salmon dressing only takes 5 minutes to prepare, so if you want a quick and easy meal that is ready within an hour, you have to try this one! It is perfect for a family. If you want to make a smaller portion, just mix equal amounts of each ingredient in the dressing. If you do not have celery on hand, you can just use onions.

Cooking salmon is so easy and it tastes so delicious. you can tell that the salmon is ready when the salmon flakes off. For a large salmon, I always have it in the oven for 30 minutes and it is foolproof. I do not have to wrap it in tin foil or anything, just right onto a pan (I do line the pan with tin foil so clean up is a breeze). I garnish with a bit of fresh lemon juice right before eating.
